The School of Concrete Technology offers a range of concrete training courses tailored specifically to the needs of the concrete industry. Also available is the highly sort after, internationally recognised Advanced Concrete Technology (ACT) diploma.
The SCT has more than 15 concrete training courses, three of which are internationally recognised. Courses are presented most frequently at the Institute’s School of Concrete Technology in Midrand, Johannesburg. They are also offered in Cape Town and Durban. In addition, courses can also be conducted at a suitable venue to accommodate clients anywhere in South Africa.
The Concrete Institute offers quality, expertise, on special on-site concrete courses or tailor-made concrete training courses. These courses can also be arranged as we aim to tailor-make programmes that suit your specific needs and ensure your training goals are met within your organisation.
Our team of trainers/lecturers can tailor courses to address just about any kind of skills issues you may need to deal with: needing more creative strategic thinking within your organisation. And most importantly, we do it in collaboration with you; we take a detailed brief, discuss our approach and the options that would best suit your organisation and create a programme that will be the end result of all our resourcefulness, originality, knowledge and experience.
Participants receive a certificate of attendance/competence and are asked to fill out the evaluation form in order to meet our client’s expectations in the future.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are awarded on selected courses.
The Concrete Society of Southern Africa (CSSA) endorses all courses presented by the School of Concrete Technology.
